The earlier bugs are gnome specific. The last bug is bad client
behaviour and arguably lack of atomic modesetting support. xrandr is
reporting a true limitation of the device in that the LVDS can only be
bound to one pipe, so if you bind VGA first to that pipe, then LVDS
cannot be lit. This is reported to the client via the available CRTCs so
again doesn't appear to be a driver bug.
