Heh, I would have said the recommendation was to use 12.04 in order to get the fixes backported. Having said that, it should be as easy as:
$ sudo apt-get build-dep xserver-xorg-video-intel $ git clone git://anongit.freedesktop.org/xorg/driver/xf86-video-intel $ cd xf86-video-intel $ ./autogen.sh --prefix=/usr $ make && sudo make install to grab the latest driver and build it for your system. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-video-intel in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/950587 Title: Update to bug #944626 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-video-intel/+bug/950587/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
