After a couple of months of working with KUbuntu Natty I find that these graphical corruptions still may occasionally appear (mainly the panels get corrupted). However, they became very seldom, and I cannot figure out how to reproduce them "naturally" (not using the testcase from here). The testcase still works as previously.
