** Description changed:

Hi, I having problems with my Laptop Toshiba A505 S6005 since Precise
(Ubuntu 12.04), I have tried Ubuntu, Xubuntu and Kubuntu, with the same
problem. the graphics are slow, the mouse feels like like sticky and
reacts slow. Moving a window reacts later.

Actually I'm using Oneiric with the last 3.0 version of kernel, because
it works fine, but if I install the 3.4 kernel in that version, i get
the slow graphics. Because of that I thinks is a kernel problem
(probably since the Intel drivers were changed).

Also I have tried another distros for testing in that machine, and I
  have this results:

-Fedora 17: It has the laggy graphics, its minor but it is.
-Fuduntu 2012.3. It also has the laggy graphics,
-Arch Linux. Sometimes the behaivor is good, but when it sudenly it feels
slow until reboot. This happens with the kernel 3.4.7.1, but the update to
3.4.9.1 gets the laggy graphics.
-Linux Mint 13. It is the same that ubuntu.

Hope you can help me because I'm still using Oneiric.

In the attached file is the output for various commands in the
  terminal.

  Sorry for my bad English.

  Thanks.

Hi, I have tried Lubuntu Precise (12.04) from USB, and It works well, I
have played some youtube videos (with flash), even install compiz and
use some effects (like rotating cube), and it works very well, no slow,
  no sticky mouse.

  Later I installed xubuntu desktop (in Live USB) with the command;

  sudo apt-get update
  sudo apt-get install xubuntu-desktop

The installation finish well; also add a user (still in Live USB) with
  the command:

  sudo adduser tempusr

With this I want to tried how works another desktop with the Lubuntu
  Distro without install it.

Then I close session and start a new session with the user was I has
created (tempusr), and select Xubuntu Session to that session.

In the moment in which the Xubuntu Desktop run, the slow graphics and
all problems that I has whith other Distros was there.

The question here is: Which package have the problem, because Lubuntu
  did not have that problem.

The outputs from the same commands was append: lubuntu before install
- xubuntu-desktop package, and after install it.
+ xubuntu-desktop package, and after install it. in the file appended.

- Hope some can help me with this information. Because I want use XFCE.
- Later will use the USB of Lubuntu and install XFCE and see how it works.
+ Hope some can help me with this information. In case more information is
+ needed, please tell me, and I put it.
