Replying to #44: I know that RadeonHD is not compatible with the current version. Thus my suggestion it be "revived" as a project. If it were compatible I'd just compile it.
I'm short of time these days. Rather than making huge efforts to have X.Org fix the bug, I'll just remove the Debian partition from my netbook.
