This is biting me too... As I could not find this bug by title, I reported it on the intel drivers bug tracker on freedesktop and Chris Wilson's answer (in closing the bug) pointed me here. He indicated that 3.4 kernels already have the fix.
Can anyone indicate if this is getting backported to precise kernel? It is important for having a machine in shape for giving presentations. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-video-intel in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/982251 Title: [gm45] False GPU lockup render.IPEHR: 0x01820000 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/xserver-xorg-video-intel/+bug/982251/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
