I upgraded to 295.53. This causes X to fail entirely. I can't even boot into any graphical version of Ubuntu with this driver, let alone run compiz. I'm running an Nvidia gtx 280 card. So far my only relief is to run the beta driver 302.07. I might try 302.11 if that's out.
