I tried installing the 295.33 drivers twice. Everything seemed to go fine, however, after both tries I could not get back to a graphical interface. I reverted back to the open source Nouveau video driver until this is fixed, which I hope is real soon. The open source driver is working reasonably well and seems to give me some of the 3D features like size adjustment of the launcher icons.
