quick fix: issue this shell command in the mtrr directory sed -i -e 's/\<mtrr_type\>/&_dhr/g' mtrr-uncover.c Then "make" again. I am a bit surprised that you have MTRR problems when you are using a new kernel. I would have thought that the kernel's code to "clean up" MTRRs would be working. This code was added to the official kernel last year. I would like to know more.
