I can confirm that this is still a bug on Intrepid, kernel 2.6.32-39-generic
Current mouse shows up as: Bus 004 Device 002: ID 195d:1010 Itron Technology iONE But it does it with any mouse until Xorg is restarted. Until then, there are issues with mouse-clicks not working and/or focus issues with windows.
