This bug, alas, is still very much a reality in Oneiric. In fact, it has now gotten to the point that Xorg freezes essentially every time I try to play a YouTube video from the website (whether HTML5 or Flash). Previously in Natty, it would sometimes not cause Xorg to freeze if I used HTML5 mode, but this is no longer the case in Oneiric. This is an issue that is really annoying to me, so please let me know if you need me to provide any information to help fix this. Thanks!
