Timo, I finally had time to replace the 320GB drive in my laptop with a 500GB drive, and have reinstated Jaunty into the list of available distros in the boot menu. I'm up to date with the kernel (2.6.28-15.48) and nvidia driver (190.18.03), so we'll see if this works better.
