My monitor, described in the title is not recognized. Right now it is
displaying a resolution of 800x600, which is extremely low resolution.
My monitor can display resolutions far beyond that. When I was using
another operating system, such as Mac OS X, it detected the monitor and
displayed the correct resolution of 1280x1024 I believe.
I am using Ubuntu release 10.10
