Thanks for confirming it still happens. Can you also answer my earlier questions?
A GPU lockup typically involves the system being locked up hard - mouse pointer may move, but is totally unresponsive otherwise and you have to power cycle the machine. Did that happen? I ask because sometimes there are "fake" lockups, where the video driver is able to immediately recover - it trips the crash detector but your system is otherwise fine. If you do have real lockups and have seen them recently, about how often does it seem to occur - like every time right after starting up the Ubuntu Unity desktop environment, or only after some period of use, or randomly? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-video-intel in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/814450 Title: [gm45] GPU lockup EIR: 0x00000010 PGTBL_ER: 0x00000003 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-video-intel/+bug/814450/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
