07-29-2009 Have today installed karmic daily build alt-cd. Installer only installs base system and errors at app install. I could manage to install grub2 and reboot, login to shell prompt and uses apt-get to install gdm and ubuntu-desktop then reboot. This karmic koala daily build works fine. I will keep this version for testing if you need information pls let me know, thanks.
