You have been subscribed to a public bug:
Ubuntu 11.04 (both 32-bit & 64-bit) live ISO always freezes at boot
without giving any information. To solve it I had to manually grab the
ISO to a USB stick memory and then modify /syslinux/syslinux.cfg and
remove the ui option. Here's the description of the hardware :
