so. I tryed. The same. desktop cd does not work correctly with vga of that monitor. (but installed system with propertery driver from nvidia do) Note: To be able to use apport-collect the monitor is connected 2 times simultanly: 1 x on vga and second with hdmi. I must do that, because I am not able to start apport collect without seeing anything. If I change the input on the screen, there seem correctly connected vga, because it sais "not supported mode" I do not have a second monitor to connect two really different screens at the same time. thats the reason, I must connect vga and hdmi simultanly. but I am not sure if that falsify the apport-collect command.
