Emilio says that "They are not currently in use" is not just jockey not detecting them. it's because they are really not being used.
On my machine, the driver (270.41.06) is in use according to nvidia settings (and it reports a GPU temperature), nevertheless I get a "this driver is not activated" message, and "There are no proprietary drivers in use".
