In my opinion its not the issue of Ubuntu, I see the same issue with openSUSE 11.4 + Tumbleweed + GNOME3 + NVidia driver downloaded from their website. This could be kernel and/or NVidia driver bug.
Any one in this bug, can you please suggest me steps to downgrade to older NVidia version ?
