I installed Kubuntu 10.04 LTS and I have the same issue about the slow mouse, I have tried using 2 differents USB mouse, and I changed mouse properties in system settings, but nothing seems to change. I tried with Kubuntu 10.04 LTS 64 bits and 32 bits, even I tried with Ubuntu 11.04 64 bits and I have the same problem.
