I still have this issue in NAtty on a dell d630c with nvidia 135m, temperature reaches 90+ C and the fan goes crazy for 4 seconds full speed then slows down shortly and repeats all over until it cools down! Very annoying sound and heat production. I have to downgrade to v173 but the nasty side-effect is that alt-tabbing and Compiz is sluggish which makes it unusable.
