Fabio, thanks for doing that testing, I think there might have been some confusion. xdiagnose is used for turning on debugging, merely installing it doesn't make any changes to your system; perhaps I was unclear about this.
Anyway, can you try your tests again, but this time before doing it, run the command 'xdiagnose' which will bring up a dialog with some checkboxes. Check the first one and click Apply.
