@madbiologist: Yes, I have tried it on Natty, thanks for reporting it upstream, I have subscribed myself to that bug in case they need anything from me. @Rafał Miłecki: with the low setting the temperature gets down to 66 degrees, but that's still way above the normal temperature with the proprietary driver.
