@Geert, well, vsync/tearing issues are such a generic symptom that two drivers could have essentially the same problem with no common code involved at all. In any case, these types of issues are best handled as per-driver since even if there was shared code it'd probably require a driver developer to implement a fix. So, for this bug we'll focus on the -intel issue; if you want it analyzed on the proprietary driver you should file a new bug.
