Bryce, I have been using a MS Windows Work Station most of the time rather than Ubuntu because of the slow down and freeze issue. However, if your suggestion will do anything to track down the difficulty, I'll be glad to fire it up, but did want a clarification. Will the information obtained by apport-collect have any value given that it will only be possible to run it after a hard reboot? Thanks...
