I have the same issue: I get this error mesage with Ubuntu 10.10 running on a Fujitsu Lifebook S7020 (VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Mobile 915GM/GMS/910GML Express Graphics Controller (rev 03)) but only sometimes and after I resume from suspend. Most of the time suspend / wake works well.
