Today I tried Brian Rogers 845/855 kernel and it solved the flickering problem.
With 2.6.37 I had a black screen after booting but "linux-image-2.6.35-ppa21+v9patch-generic" works pretty fine for me. One side effect is the middle mouse button, it doesn't paste anymore right now. If I encounter other more serious problems in the long run, I will tell you.
