Hi. I applied the patch on a 2.6.35 kernel (latest on Ubuntu 10.10 at this time). Tachpad now works great! Thankyou, Marcin. Then I installed the DKMS driver package provided in https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/308191 #116 and multitouch now works too.
