I think rapidshare changed their page, it doesn't crash X any more. To reproduce the problem I created an archive "kill_X.tar.gz" which crashes firefox each time. It contains a downloaded ebay HTML page. Just open the HTML-File from the archive an scroll down. In Opera I can see that it is obviously scrolling text which causes this behaviour.
