I tested xserver-xorg-video-intel versions 2:2.12.0-ubuntu5.1 and ubuntu5.2~lp from Robert Hooker for about three days under the following conditions / environments: - Acer 3820T with Core i3-350m and integrated graphics only - Completely updated Ubuntu Maverick - Kernels 2.6.35, 2.6.36-2 and 2.6.37-8 - Multiple shutdowns, suspend/resume, and hibernate/resume cycles in each - Xfce and Enlightenment 17 DEs - Multi-display setup on laptop LVDS with or without HDMI out
I saw zero apport crashes, no compositor issues, no MI_WAIT_FOR_EVENT errors logged, and similar power usage/wakeups/interrupt counts. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-video-intel in ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/626967 Title: MASTER: Hang in MI_WAIT_FOR_EVENT on framebuffer switch. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
