Btw, I would like it if you could subscribe directly to the upstream bug at https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=22595 so you can answer their questions directly; if I'm in the role of a go-between you and upstream it could delay how long it takes to get your issue sorted out.
