This freaking problem is totally shitting at me. :( I installed latest driver from both repo and nVidia site. one by one, none of them worked. :( I got the sound out of my speaker, i got the display in a remote VNC, but the Monitor is still in power saving mode. :( Tried all the suggestions preferred in this thread, but alas, none worked. :(
