Binary package hint: compiz
There are screen distortions when I run compiz or try to watch xine
movies. I have an AMD 64 machine running 64 bit KUbuntu 9.04 ( Jaunty
Jackalope). I have settled with using no visual effects while I tried
every recommended configuration with no luck. I am using an Nvidia
6600GT graphics card with the 185 beta driver from nvidia. I have tried
all previous graphics card drivers including 180 with no luck.
I have a dual screen configuration but disabling that did not help the
situation.
I have also attached a screen shot
