xrandr works flawless on jaunty with kernel 2.6.30 generic + intel driver 2.4 or 2.6.. When I install intel video driver ver. 2.7 and try to change tv format xrander crashes again and restarts X... Now I'm installing intel v. 2.8 preview drivers... I will let you know with result. Most probably problem caused by intel video driver 2.7.
