Wouter, actually I'm not confident it's the same bug; there's a variety of different things that can cause the exact symptoms reported for this bug, and Debian #496838 seems to be pretty specifically about use of gdmflexiserver. Can you explain further on why you think this may be related to that bug?
I'm also setting this back to Incomplete since it still needs re-tested against Karmic. ** Bug watch added: Debian Bug tracker #496838 http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=496838 ** Also affects: xserver-xorg-video-intel (Debian) via http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=496838 Importance: Unknown Status: Unknown ** Changed in: xserver-xorg-video-intel (Debian) Importance: Unknown => Undecided ** Changed in: xserver-xorg-video-intel (Debian) Status: Unknown => New ** Changed in: xserver-xorg-video-intel (Debian) Remote watch: Debian Bug tracker #496838 => None ** Changed in: xserver-xorg-video-intel (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- [i946GZ] Xserver black screen on 3/28/09 update of Jaunty https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/350399 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-video-intel in ubuntu. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
