After installing Jaunty updates of xserver-xorg-video-intel on my laptop Compiz starts working fine and I don't seen any other problems instead of X crashing on resuming after hibernate and suspend. Also I have in my xorg.conf: Option "AccelMethod" "uxa" for my video device, because it really increases perfomance.
