@hkais: try the latest stable drivers from the ubuntu-x-swat team: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat/+archive/x-updates It should be better. But be careful, the drivers are not as well tested as the default ones. (I came across some crashes with this PPA and HP-HDX Notebook)
