I'm currently experiencing this problem in Kubuntu (9.04) and the 180.44
nvidia driver. This has happened several times. While there are
several user sessions, When I switch from one (A) to the other (B), it
is not uncommon for A to crash while I am using B.

I'll attach the X.org log file but this is the backtrace at the bottom
of it:

Backtrace:
0: /usr/bin/X(xorg_backtrace+0x3b) [0x813518b]
1: /usr/bin/X(xf86SigHandler+0x55) [0x80c7be5]
2: [0xb7f5f400]
3: /usr/bin/X [0x80fa366]
4: /usr/lib/xorg/modules/drivers//nvidia_drv.so [0xb6752a37]
Saw signal 11. Server aborting.
