Running Kubuntu Jaunty devel fully updated on an EeePC 1000H (Atom 1.6ghz,
Intel 945GME). Using EXA for acceleration. However when kwin has compositing
enabled, X becomes less and less responsive as more windows as opened.
Once 4-5 windows are open, it has become extremely sluggish to the point where
you can type and watch the letters follow after a few seconds.
This does not occur with compiz, or with kwin without compositing. Suspecting a
texture memory leak of sorts.
I have tried updating intel drivers from xorg-edgers, and enabling UXA
in xorg.conf, however this just makes the framerate 10x worse.
