I'm seeing symptoms similar to what is described in Bug #338669 except
I'm using GNOME instead of KDE and have an Nvidia video card (nvidia-
glx-180 180.44-0ubuntu1).
The symptom seems to be restricted to QT4 apps, with libqtcore4 as a
common component.
Specific apps. where I've seen problems:
The help viewer for Bookmarkbridge.
The entry edit dialog in Keepassx.
The distortions I've observed aren't as extensive as those described in
Bug #295079, but this is potentially a duplicate of that bug's
circumstances (GNOME/Nvidia).
