You have been subscribed to a public bug: Hi,
I have a 01:05.0 VGA compatible controller: ATI Technologies Inc RS690 [Radeon X1200 Series] graphics card, but can't find a driver with sufficient support in jaunty. fglrx denies service because it does not support this card radeonhd works but slow. It's good for regular work but when trying to display videos there are too many dropped frames. ATI seems to have put their driver into a 'legacy driver': http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/linux/legacy/Pages/radeon_linux.aspx?type=2.4.1&product=2.4.1.3.7&lang=English Maybe ubuntu could adopt this? regards ** Affects: xserver-xorg-video-radeonhd (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Bad support for ATI RS690 / X1200 graphics card https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/367409 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-video-radeonhd in ubuntu. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
