1.33 GHz celeron processor with 512 MB SDRAM 80 GB HDD laptop. Installed
Ubuntu 9.4 desktop version (EXT4) as duel boot alongside WinXP Pro
(NTFS). As the time passes (around 30 minutes) the individual characters
in applications under Ubuntu get covered by light grey squares which
gradually become dark black rendering the texts as well as menu items
completely unreadable. Have included a screen shot. The 8.10 version of
desktop Ubuntu works perfectly.
