I'm using a Logitech G7 Laser Cordless Mouse. I've had the same problem in 8.10 Now I did a clean install of 9.04 and my mouse was perfect for the first couple of days, but today it started doing the double-click thing again. To make some observations - the double click seems to happen only when I'm moving the mouse during the click. If I make sure the mouse is still while clicking, the click is a click reliably.
