This is getting worse: All of the above was dualscreen with extended desktop. Now, I tested a mirrored configuration - this also shows the bug.
Then, I tried to just configure the notebook display, having the external display shut off. When I close the lid, I briefly see the external display being activated - just before the machine goes to standby and all displays are switched off. When I re-open the lid, suddenly only the external display is activated - it should not!
