Hi All, I'm going to be on vacation today until next Wednesday. I won't have much communication, as we'll be prepping for my sister-in-law's wedding.
The nice part is that this coincides with Feature Freeze (today). This means that what is in the repos is locked. From here until Beta freeze, we work on fine-tuning. Honestly, I don't foresee any problems, but this is definitely a good time to start downloading and testing ISOs. A few important things in this release to note: - The inclusion of LSP Plugins and DPF Plugins - gladish and all LADI tools are no longer maintaned and under bitrot, and have been removed. - For session handling, we're including raysession which uses much of the Non Session Manager API. We cannot include Non Session Manager itself as the way its source code is arranged conflicts with the method used for Ubuntu and Debian packaging. Really, it's a long story, but the method of packaging that would be used is incompatible. - Ubuntu Studio Controls has received some vast improvements (thanks Len!!) With that, I hope that everything is going well. I hope to get a blog post out (and possibly a video) to showcase the new features. Thanks everyone!
