Thanks Erich, The images have been made available two days late - just now (and I still haven't received the normal build notification for some reason): http://iso.qa.ubuntu.com/qatracker/milestones/388/builds
The release date is still tomorrow (Thurs 5th April) however. So everyone get testing! If someone wants to have a go at writing up the release notes on the wiki, we need a Beta 2 Release Notes page created based on the last one: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/ArtfulAardvark/Beta2/UbuntuStudio Hold your hand up (volunteer here). The release team will want the link for their "overall ubuntu" release notes (page not created yet): https://wiki.ubuntu.com/BionicBeaver/Beta2 If someone is volunteering to write a post about the release for the website, also sing out! As there has not been a lot of action from us on the Beaver so far, it is really important that we give this Beta Release a good bash. We want as many bugs identified as possible before the final release a few weeks later. Feel free to go beyond the listed test cases and give all the apps a good going over. I am not sure I will be home from work in time to participate in the testing, so if someone is willing to let the release team know on IRC that there has been enough testing "ready for release" - or do this the proper way on the tracker website, if you have the required permissions (basically do my job for me), then I would be really grateful. I am loving all the noise on this list by the way - it is fantastic :-) Ross On 04/03/2018 09:39 PM, Erich Eickmeyer wrote: > Hi everyone, > > 18.04’s release is fast approaching, and Final Beta is literally 2 days away. > With that in mind, what all needs to be done before either of these > milestones?
