Hi,

The ruby 3.3 transition was planned for this cycle, and initially, it was
supposed to start on July 11th [1]. However, the server team decided to try
to make the transition smoother, so I organized a sprint during DebCamp [2]
this year to get some help from Debian maintainers to fix packages failing
with this new ruby version, and now we are late compared to the release
schedule.

I'd like to ask the release team if it is OK to start the ruby 3.3
transition next week, before feature freeze. We know there are others last
minute transitions, but hopefully, the ruby 3.3 one will not be too
disruptive.
