Hi, I remember having following instructions found in the internet to change things in one of the "etc" file. (as far as I remember the problem and solution was similar to https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/network-manager/+bug/134496 )
That resolved the problem when I was on Gutsy. I am now on Hardy since June an evreythings is still ok. Thanks for your interest in this case.
