Public bug reported: Testing on MacBook Pro rev. 3. Fresh install from Alpha 2 64-Bit, all updates.
Since one of the latest updates, CDs cannot be ejected. Even though there was no CD inserted, Nautilus offered the "eject" symbol. Nautilus showed an error message while inserting the CD. Pressing the eject button while a CD is inserted leads to nothing except an error message: ---- Auswerfen von CD-RW-/DVD±RW-Laufwerk nicht möglich DBus error org.gtk.Private.RemoteVolumeMonitor.NotFound: The given drive was not found ---- Using the drive works ok. There seems no alternative way of ejecting the CD since this is a slot- in drive. The physical "eject" button on the keyboard does not work yet (see bug report). This drive has no emergency eject mechanism, so you can't get the CD out with any mechanical method either. ** Affects: linux (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Intrepid: CD cannot be ejected https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/264011 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
