I have the same problem. I have a pretty standard Hardy install on a mac mini, and until today I hadn't upgraded the kernel.
Tonight I installed 2.26.27 (with synaptic, using the intrepid repository), rebooted and checked with uname -a that I had the new kernel. Then I tried to suspend the mini, waited for a while and then tapped the keys and wiggled the mouse. The mouse lit up underneath, but nothing happened. Then I pressed the power button swiftly and I could hear the computer coming to life. But then a new a thing happened: the display told me that I should change the display settings down to 1280x1024, which of course is what I actually use. Nothing I did could make this go away. I even tried to enter my password and hitting return. After shutting off the computer and restarting, everything (but resume) works again. *sad* This is what's keeping me from running Ubuntu and staying with OSX... -- Core 2 duo mac mini does not resume after correct suspend https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/215215 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
